ISSN 1368-485X〕 ==Design and development== The Freccia was derived from the earlier Pro.Mecc Sparviero, with additional streamlining and a new elliptical wing planform. It was designed to conform to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale microlight rules. It features a cantilever low-wing, a two-seats-in-side-by-side configuration enclosed cockpit under a bubble canopy, fixed or, optionally, retractable tricycle landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration.〔 The aircraft is made from carbon fibre. Its span wing has an area of and double slotted flaps to allow a low stall speed. The standard engine fitted is the Rotax 912ULS four-stroke powerplant.〔
